20 Years Later

We’re Coming Home

Vance High School | Class of 2006

December 4-6 | Charlotte, NC

Welcome to the Class of 2006 20-Year Reunion

Twenty years. Can you believe it?

Welcome back, Class of 2006!

Twenty years ago, we walked across the stage as Vance High School Cougars, full of big dreams, big personalities, and absolutely no idea how quickly the next two decades would fly by.

Now, we’re coming back together to celebrate everything that happened in between.

For one weekend, we’ll return to where so much of our story began. We’ll pour into the next generation, give back to our community, laugh about the good old days, catch up on everything life has brought our way, and celebrate the people we’ve become.

And yes, our school has a new name.

What we knew as Vance High School is now Julius L. Chambers High School, named in honor of the renowned Charlotte civil rights attorney whose legal work played a significant role in the desegregation of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. The school was officially renamed in 2021 following a unanimous vote by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education.

The name may have changed, but our memories haven't.

So whether you stayed in Charlotte, moved across the country, or somehow ended up halfway around the world, we're excited to welcome you home.

Let's make 20 worth remembering.
